Family Statistics
Mother: Sarah Alice Stonewall (née Fitzwilliam): Born April 11, 1958 in Mountbatten-upon-Gwynfor, Beckshire, Upper Andraste; died May 4, 1999. Sarah was a kind woman who apparently loved being a mother to her two children. She tried to teach her daughter “everything a proper woman should know”, and for the most part, succeeded at it. Unfortunately, there was a horrible influenza outbreak in 1999; Sarah caught it and despite treatment and the best doctors James could buy, she still passed away. From September 1999 to present, a close friend has claimed to channel her spirit in séances.
Father: James William Blakely Stonewall: Born January 16, 1949 in Belenus, Tristanshire, Upper Andraste. James is a kind man who simply wants the best for his daughter. He is the current president of the Spiritualist Society of Andraste and has been grooming Elizabeth to take on the role when he passes away. He was very disheartened when his wife died, though weekly séances with ‘her’ seem to cheer him.
Sibling(s): Blakely Abraham James Stonewall: Born May 10, 1981 in Belenus, Tristanshire, Upper Andraste; died October 29, 1990. Blakely was an average boy; he particularly enjoyed catching toads in a nearby creek. He was going to be his father’s heir to the Society, although he did not particularly like being groomed for the job, especially at such a young age. Unfortunately, this was shattered when he died in a house fire. Occasionally he is channelled during a séance as well, though ‘he’ does not talk much.
Aunt: Gwyneth Susan Marianne London (née Stonewall): Born November 8, 1946 in Belenus, Tristanshire, Upper Andraste. Gwyneth is a very intelligent woman; she is bilingual and has been honing her mental powers since the age of ten. She enjoys throwing lavish balls and showing off her powers. She is married to Corinth London, a popular composer on his second marriage, and had three surviving children with him. She continues to instruct Elizabeth in developing her own powers.

Primary Home Language: Classical Andrastian, though she speaks in the Belenus dialect. Andrastian is similar to modern English. She also speaks Poltovsky, though less frequently than the former.
Nationality: Upper Andrastian; born in the capital Belenus

History
Elizabeth is the youngest child of James and Sarah Stonewall. She lived a fairly relaxing life, her parents being members of the lower-upper-class, and therefore had time to devote to more intellectual pursuits as she grew older. Her father taught her Poltovsky at a young age, and she slowly became bilingual. She also grew close to the Spiritualist Society, as her father was, at the time, the vice-president and she had many family members in there. She didn’t fully understand it at her age, but she liked the shows nonetheless.

Belenus was an extremely crowded capital, with many buildings close together. Most people lived in apartment-like buildings, though the Stonewalls were privileged enough to afford their own house. However, in 1990, when Elizabeth was seven, a fire started in an apartment building. Due to the crowded nature, the fire kept spreading and eventually managed to hit Elizabeth’s house. The house, ironically, remained fairly unscathed – the damage was repaired easily – though her younger brother Blakely died in the flames, having been trapped in his room at the time. All Elizabeth remembers is the fire everywhere, and has become rather afraid of it since.

Her family took the loss of their son very hard, and for a while Elizabeth was ignored, being placed with a nanny. She didn’t quite understand what was going on, but she knew enough to figure out that wherever Blakely was, he wasn’t coming back. When she was ten, her father permitted her to start attending Spiritualist meetings, deciding that she would take the presidency when he was dead. Sarah protested, saying Elizabeth was too young, so James restricted her to the meetings, not the séances or mental practices. She didn’t particularly care, as she found the meetings boring and assumed everything else about the Society was like that as well.

When she was twelve, nearly thirteen, it was discovered that she had developed very weak mental powers. The Society hailed this, as it meant their future leader was very much “in tune” with her “Higher Self”. From there on, she was taken aside by her aunt Gwyneth London, herself skilled in mental powers, and taught how to refine her skills. She proved outstanding in both telekinesis and telepathy, though she had some degree of extra-sensory perception. Gwyneth has continued to try and develop her ESP more so that it may “catch up” to her telepathy/telekinesis.

There was a severe influenza outbreak when she was sixteen. Influenza wasn’t picky about its’ victims, so Sarah fell ill. Sarah had been a very healthy person, but now she just seemed to get worse as time went on. She was sent to a special building for influenza treatment, and was looked after by the best doctors James could pay, but none of this was any help. Sarah eventually died and was buried in the family crypt. The two remaining members – Elizabeth and James – went into deep mourning; Elizabeth longer than her father despite the fact that it should have been the other way around.

The loss of her mother hit Elizabeth hard, as Sarah had taught her everything she knew and she had been very close with her. For a while she was in a listless state, not wanting to socialize with anyone. Her father continued to cope in his own way, which meant doubling his workload within the Society. A few months after her death, Elizabeth was suddenly allowed to attend everything relating to the Society, primarily séances. It was there that the two Stonewalls discovered a medium, Mrs. Catherine Dunn, was ‘channelling’ Sarah’s spirit. This comforted Elizabeth immensely and helped her cope. From there on she began to enjoy the séances, eager to learn the advice offered by the dead.

Elizabeth’s claim to the Society was formalized when she was eighteen; she was officially declared “Deputy President”, a position which had been left vacant since Blakely’s death. From there on, James began to instruct her in the administrative workings of the Society, though he assured her that she need not worry about anything yet. As of yet, the only major influence she exerts on the Society is through her father; any actions she wishes to take must be approved by him first.

Life was pretty uneventful after that. Elizabeth continued to attend séances and the like, and even tried to act as a medium at one point, but discovered she simply wasn’t good at that. She saw nothing, and most of the things she heard were white noise. She tried studying with a medium and began meditation, but since then her skills in this area haven’t picked up much. She continues to be involved with the Society as well as doing administrative tasks within in, but her life is going very slow at the moment.

Magical Statistics
Magical Power: Telepathy/telekinesis
Weapon: Sometimes she wears a silver circlet around her forehead with a small amulet in the centre; she believes this assists her and heightens her mental powers (though she doesn’t always wear it, as it doesn’t follow the fashions of her day and she wishes not to be ridiculed).
Accessories or Anything Else: A cameo, featuring an engraving of her mother.
